Ladies O40 team v Glos

The ladies Over 40 County team won their first county match against Gloucestershire playing in Division 1.

Nottinghamshire 14 & U Boys put in a great effort at the 14 & U County Cup played at Graves Tennis Centre in Sheffield, but was unfortunately beaten by Yorkshire in the final to finish a valiant 2nd place.

learning disablitlies event

West Bridgford Tennis Club in Nottingham held its 2nd Open Learning Disability Tournament over the weekend of 16th & 17th April.

Following her plea for tennis balls at the Annual Awards Night in February and her subsequent trip to The Gambia with students from the South Notts College, Gill Lane has sent these pictures which tell their own story.

18U County Cup Team March 2011

This report may be a little late to get to the website - with apologies from the editor - but it is well worth reading of the valiant efforts made by our 18U County Boy's team with their first experience of playing in Division 1.
