The second round was against Hereford and Worcestershire all four girls had straight set convincing wins, playing very solid tennis.
Donovan had a tough match, he played well, but lost 2-4, 1-4, Jacob played another good match but this round won in the match tie-break 10-8, Alex was also taken to another match tie-break winning 10-6. Ross played well, fighting hard to give him a 5-3, 5-3 win.
The final round was against Norfolk. It was a repeat performance form the girls with four convincing straight set wins, showing our depth of standard throughout the team.
Donovan had an easy win, Jacob went down in straight sets, Alex had an easy win, but Ross lost in two sets. Again we had an overall win, which had put Notts at the top of the division by one point.
There was great team spirit, my thanks as always to the parents for their support.
