Congratulations to Jocelyn Rae on her fantastic success at Wimbledon this year!
Jocelyn and Ken Skupski started their path through the Mixed Doubles rounds by beating Divij Sharan and Zhaoxuan Yang 6-3, 6-4 on Court 17. They went on to beat the number 5 seeds 6-4, 7-5 on Court 8.
Novak Djokovic’s withdrawal gave Jocelyn and Ken the opportunity to play on Court 1 against 12th seeds Max Mimyi and Ekaterina Makarova. They played fantastic tennis to win 5-7, 6-4, 9-7 and a place in the Quarter Finals against none other than the number 1 seeds, Martina Hingis and Jamie Murray.
This was always going to be a special game, but to have it played on Centre Court was the icing on the cake for Jocelyn and Ken. They may have lost 6-4, 6-4 to the eventual overall winners , but it will be a match they remember forever,
Jocelyn also partnered Laura Robson in the Ladies Doubles and had a fantastic start by beating the number 11 seeds, Raquel Atawo and Jelena Ostapenko 6-3. 3-6. 6-3. However, they lost their second round match v Makoto Ninomiys and Renata Voracova with a close result of 4-6, 6-7.
