Congratulations to Luke Bambridge who has been selected to join Team AEGON, the elite group of British Players.
Team AEGON is the next level of support to Matrix A players and the players on Team AEGON can be any age as long as they fulfil the selection criteria.
There is a common standard across both Men’s and Women’s teams in selection. Except in exceptional circumstances the players have to be a minimum of matrix A or B from the age of 16 upwards and before 16 they need to be a Matrix A player. In all instances the players must be deemed as outstanding prospects by the teams involved. Also in the opinion of the head coaches of the teams, the players must have the correct attitude towards the sport. This means focussed, single minded and dedicated with an excellent work ethic.
