Nottingham Tennis Centre are hosting The BIG Tennis Weekend on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October 2018. Volunteers are required to help support and assist on the event.
What is The Big Tennis Weekend?
School children from around the city have been invited to take part in The BIG Tennis Weekend. Children get the opportunity to take part in lots of tennis activities including the inflatable tennis dart board! We are expecting over 250 children to participate over the weekend, this is a great opportunity to have fun and enjoy the game we love.
What will a volunteer be doing?
Roles are to engage with youngsters playing simple and organized tennis games. Full training given on the day. No prior tennis experience required, all volunteers need to be 13 years and above. Volunteers are required for one of the following time slots:
Saturday 13th 9.30 -12.00 and 12.30-15.00.
Saturday 13th 9.30 -12.00 and 12.30-15.00
*volunteers can choose to sign up to just one time slot or as many as they would like to help with*
