Congratulations to Mike Wisner of David Lloyd West Bridgford who has won the AEGON Coach of the Month award for June.
On the 28th & 29th June 2011 Mike Wisner broke the Guinness World Record for the most consecutive, best of three set, singles tennis matches. Mike played 25 matches in 28.5 hours.
In breaking this world record Mike is hoping to raise £20,000 for the LTA’s official international charity, Right to Play.
Mike is one of the most inspirational characters in tennis and his achievement was nothing short of incredible.
Mike has won the AEGON Coach of the Month award to acknowledge his months of training, fundraising and commitment to the LTA's Official International Charity Partner Right to Play.
