Corby Orange Festival of Tennis
On February 19th Billy Morley, Jasper Riley, Jessica Peel and Sophie Lager (pictured left to right) travelled to Corby to compete in the orange festival of tennis for Nottinghamshire. Over the course of the day every child played 5 singles matches - best of 3 x tie-break sets. After some very close matches Nottinghamshire came 4th in their round robin box against Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire. In phase two of the event Nottinghamshire had a very good 3-2 win against Buckinghamshire but eventually fell short to Hertfordshire for the second time finishing 6th overall! Congratulations to all involved
