Men’s – 4 May

 
Musters managed to retain their men’s division 1 status, with a comfortable home win against West Bridgford ‘A’. Dave Percival and Andy Vernon were the top couple with 26 games. West Bridgford ‘A’ will now be relegated along with Woodthorpe, even though they still have one match remaining.
Farnsfield ‘A’ maintained their unbeaten run to finish top of division 4A, following a home win against third placed Keyworth ‘A’, with Sutton in Ashfield ‘A’ finishing in second place.
East Bridgford maintained their end of season good form in division 4B, to record wins against Attenborough ‘A’ and Sutton in Ashfield ‘A’ to finish in third place, behind Keyworth and champions Burton Joyce.
Magdala ‘B’ took the division 5A title with a close fought away win against second placed West Bridgford ‘C’. Russell Blenkinsop and Richard O’Donovan were the dominant pair for Magdala, winning an impressive 29 games to seal victory.
Friesland beat Farnsfield ‘B’ to take the division 6A title, and remain unbeaten, after comfortable wins against all the other teams in the division. David Lloyd west Bridgford ‘A’ also beat Farnsfield ‘B’ to finish in second place. Jeff Rothwell and Pete Smedley were the top couple with 26 games.

Ladies – 27 April

 
Burton Joyce ladies have won promotion to division 1, with one match still remaining, following an away win against Woodthorpe ‘A’. Heather Ankers and Elaine Masters were the top couple with 27 games. Woodthorpe first team, currently in third place behind David Lloyd Aspley will also be promoted if they win their last match against Southwell, who will be relegated along with Lady Bay if they lose.
Magdala ‘A’ secured promotion from division 3 with a close fought away win at Caunton, who now miss out on promotion. Beth Mallalue and Jane Hall were dominant for Magdala, winning 27 games to ensure victory. Collingham are also promoted and could finish as champions if they win or draw their last match against Sutton in Ashfield.
East Bridgford boosted their survival hopes in division 4, by beating the leaders, West Bridgford ‘B’. Rosie Watkins and Sue Day were the top couple with 26 games. Musters ‘A’ moved into third place, with a chance of promotion, following an away win at Boots.
The Park have just missed out on promotion from division 5B, finishing in second place behind Magdala ‘B’, even though they inflicted a crushing defeat on Sutton in Ashfield ‘A’ who will be relegated. Jean Blake and Janet Jacques won an impressive 33 games, only conceding 3.
Woodthorpe ‘B’ completed their winter season by crushing Attenborough ‘B’ to win division 6A, and remained unbeaten with West Bridgford ‘C’ promoted in second place.

Men’s – 20 April

After winning the ladies and mixed winter league first division titles, West Bridgford made it a hat-trick when their men beat Woodthorpe in a close fought match, to take the first division title. Ryan Williams and Andy Wood were the top couple with 24 games. The runners up place will go to either last years champions Farnsfield or Magdala, who both have one match remaining.
David Lloyd West Bridgford appear to be powering their way to the division 2 title following a convincing home win against Magdala ‘A’, to remain unbeaten with two matches remaining. James Trussler and Will Rollo were in dominant form, winning 30 games, which was almost matched by their second pair of James Taylor and Kyle Collins with 29 games. Boots ‘A’ moved into third place with a comfortable away win at Attenborough, with Richard Smart and Sam Ashcroft winning 29 games.
With Lady Bay already crowned champions of division 3, the battle for second place looks very interesting following Grantham’s comfortable home win against Wollaton which leaves them in second and third place respectively, with one match to play.
Relegation threatened East Bridgford helped their survival cause in division 4B, by beating third placed David Lloyd Aspley ‘A’. Jon Mitchell and Dave Watkins were the top couple with 26 games, but they must win one of their remaining two games to avoid the drop.
Magdala ‘B’ just edged out West Bridgford ‘C’ in a tight match to remain unbeaten and take the division 5A title. Russell Blenkinsop and Richard O’ Donovan were the top couple with 29 games. Despite also losing to Mansfield ‘A’, West Bridgford ‘C’ will be promoted in second place just ahead of Mansfield because of a better games difference.
Friesland secured the division 6A title with an away win against David Lloyd West Bridgford ‘A’, to remain unbeaten. John Briggs and Richard Hawkins were easily the top couple with 33 games. Woodthorpe ‘C’ won the division 6B title by virtue of drawing their match with third placed Grantham ‘A’, with Lady Bay ‘A’ also promoted in second place.
