Caunton Tennis Club held an Open Day on Saturday 16 May which was a great success. Visitors of all ages were able to take part in the organised games and drill sessions as well as the heart-pumping Cardio sessions which is fun way to keep fit. There were plenty of prizes for all to win and the BBQ was kept busy. This Open Day was one of the many that took place this weekend as part of the LTA Great British Tennis Weekend promotion.

The Quorn Family Cup followed on from the Open Day. This is a fun parent and child event played with sponge balls on a small-sized tennis court. Some very competitive matches took place with the winning team of Toby and Cory McFarlane going forward to represent Caunton Tennis Club during the ATP Nottingham Open in June.
