Men’s Winter League

Musters moved to the top of the men’s division 1, following a good home win against neighbours West Bridgford. The top couple were Rob Cree and Callum Chivers with 25 games. West Bridgford’s Ross Savage and Matt Whitehead remained unbeaten with 20 games. Magdala started their winter season with an emphatic home win against Farnsfield, where Mike Bottomley and Joe Mellors won 28 games.

Farnsfield ‘A’ have made an impressive start to their division 4A campaign, with wins against Woodthorpe ‘C’, Sutton in Ashfield and Caunton. Stuart Walker and Neil Linfield were the top couple against Caunton with 24 games.

In division 4B, Musters ‘A’ started the season off with a close fought win at East Bridgford, where the visitors top couple were Dave Percival and Chris Budd with 23 games, but the top couple of Jon Mitchell and Leigh day with 28 games were from East Bridgford.

Southwell remain unbeaten in division 5A, following a comfortable home win against Attenborough ‘A’, where John Clarke and Bertie Ferns were the top couple with 24 games. Attenborough are struggling to make an impact in this division, and went down to their third defeat, at the hands of David Lloyd West Bridgford ‘A’.

The Park won their second match of their division 5B season, with a good away win against Mapperley Park ‘B’, where Nick Mitchell and James Saunders won 22 games, but the top couple of Patrick Betts and Dave Brookes came from Mapperley Park
