The Nottinghamshire over 50’s Women’s team endured a hard fought season over the summer but in the end had to settle for third place on rubbers!
It all came down to a difference of 2 rubbers between 1st placed Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Nottinghamshire who ended the season unbeaten; boasting two of the top 5 players in the league in terms of results.
Captain, Jo Higham, would like to say a massive thank you to the players who were committed to the team and came so close to promotion.
