This season consisted of only two matches as two teams dropped out of the league, which left the remaining three teams vying for promotion to Division 1!
V. Durham & Cleveland
Team: Richard Dickens, Mark Blackburn, Tony Alexander and Tony Mellors. Having lost both singles matches, the team then took all three doubles matches. This was a fantastic performance by the county debutees of Richard and Mark. Match won 3 - 2.
V. Lincolnshire
Team: Richard Dickens, Mark Blackburn, Pete Whitehead and Tony Mellors. One all after the singles, Richard and Mark had a good win in the doubles. Unfortunately, we lost the remaining two doubles matches. Match lost 2 - 3
Both matches were enjoyed by all and thanks to everyone for playing this year and for West Bridgford for hosting our home match. A special 'thank you' also to the other squad member, Rob Cree. The team is looking forward to next year and playing in Division 1.
