Jacob played well winning easily 4-2, 4-1.

Anna and Amelia both had easy matches against lesser rated girls, both won in straight sets, as did Moira and Millie-Mae. These results gave us an overall win of 6-2.

The second round was against Bedfordshire, Gabriel won the first set 4-0, lost the second 1-4, he then found his winning streak again taking the match tie-break 10-4. Puneet played a much tighter match, very positive play to win 4-1, 4-1. Kieron had a close match against of boy of the same rating, he won the first set 4-1, then lost the second, but came back playing great tennis to win the match tie-break 10-6. Jacob again played well to win 4-0, 4-1.

Anna had a tough match against Natalya Ogunwale, both the same rating, unfortunately Anna lost this one, Amelia played her sister a lesser rated player to win 4-0, 4-1. Moira and Millie-Mae were again too strong for their opponents, with both winning easily in straight sets. These results gave us a 7-1 win.

The final round was against Leicestershire, Anna had a tight match against Lilia Boudidova winning 5-3, 5-3. Amelia had another very solid win 4-1, 4-0. Moira played a great first set, the let the second slip away, but having been down in the match tie-break, won 10-8. Millie-Mae played another solid match, winning 4-0, 4-2.

Gabriel had a tough match against Matt Howse, he put up a great fight, but went down 3-5, 1-4. Puneet  also had a tight match against Oliver Burt, he went to three sets, eventually losing 6-10. Jacob played very well but could not hold on to the strength and consistency of Louis Marsden,  Kieron was the last match on, we were really hoping for a win, it was set all, but Kieron held his nerve winning a close tie-break. This gave the team a 5-4 win.

This team all are good friends, the whole day was played with great team spirit, my thanks go to the parents for all their support.
