12 year old Eva Shaw from West Bridgford won through 3 rounds of matches in the U16 Grade 3 regional tour tournament at the weekend to reach the final where she played No 1 seed Erika Batista Dodridge from Aylesbury. Eva won the first set 6-2 against the 16 year old, then lost the 2nd set 1-6. The 10 point match deciding tie-break was tight but was won 10-8 by the Bucks girl 3 ranking divisions ahead of the Eva. Jessica Spencer also from West Bridgford won the consolation event winning 2 matches against other Notts players Millie Wileman & Ellie Fitzsimmons.
