Mens Summer League
Lady Bay are leading the way in the men’s division 1, with three consecutive wins against Magdala, Nottingham Castle and Farnsfield. Peter Godber and Rob Chambers were the top couple against Farnsfield, winning 6 sets for the loss of only 9 games. Mapperley Park had a convincing home win against an under strength Musters team, where Richard Mclullich and Will Yandell were the top couple with 6 sets.
David Lloyd West Bridgford lead the way in division 2, following wins against Attenborough and West Bridgford ‘A’, where Todd Johnson and Ross Stokley were the top couple with 6 sets. Todd Johnson then partnered Jack Ellis to win 5 sets against Attenborough.
Ravenshead remain unbeaten in division 3, to top the division, following a close home win against second placed Woodthorpe ‘A’. Chris Holmes and Barry Seamons were the top couple with 6 sets for the loss of only 8 games.
Musters ‘B’ top division 4B, following a close fought away win at Burton Joyce. Chris Reed and Mike Clayton were the top couple with 6 sets. Retford are in second place following a convincing away win against Lady Bay ‘A’, where Tom Brodley and John Hannah were the top couple with 6 sets.
