Mens Summer League
Musters are the early leaders in the men's first divsion, following up their opening win against Magdala, to beat newcomers Ravenshead. Andy Vernon and Dave Percival were the dominant couple, winning 6 sets for the loss of only 7 games. Chris Dexter and Chris Vernon also contributed 6 sets.
Mansfield started their season in division 2 with a good home win against West Bridgford 'A', where Niral Nana and Stefan Downs were the top couple with 5 sets, backed up by Liam Wright and Tim Smith with 4 sets.
West Bridgford 'B' also got off to a good start in division 4A, with a comfortable home win against Eastwood, where Geoff Woods and Iain Lorraine were the top couple with 6 sets. Darryl Park and Glen Salmon won 5 sets which was matched by Alan Cripps and Andy Cruickshank.
Burton Joyce opened their account in division 4B, with a good home win against Musters 'B'. David Ebbage and David Eminson were the top couple with 5.5 sets, backed up by Doug Stiller and Nick Hudson with 3.5 sets.
In division 5B, Farnsfield 'B' bounced back from an opening loss to beat Caunton 'B'. Peter Charlesworth and Mark Porter were the top couple with 6 sets for the loss of only 3 games, backed up by John Friel and Ian Smith with 6 sets.
