Men’s Winter League

West Bridgford had a comfortable away win at Farnsfield in the men’s first division, which ended the home team’s slender hopes of staying in the top division. Ross Savage and Dan Sturt were the top couple in a good all round team performance.
Woodthorpe beat West Bridgford ‘A’ to move into second place in division 2, with a good home win. Neil Collishaw and Steve Small were the top couple with 24 games. Mansfield beat the bottom team Nottingham Castle to ensure their survival in this division. Niral Nana and Stefan Downs were the top couple with 25 games. Woodthorpe ‘C’ won their first match in division 4A against fellow strugglers Mansfield ‘A’, but it will probably not be enough to avoid relegation. Paul Johnson and Nick Lewis were the top couple with 23 games, with Dan Edwards and Joss Marshall winning 22 games.
Musters ‘A’ consolidated their place at the top of division 4B, following a close away win against Attenborough ‘A’. Richard Grain and Dave Richmond were the top couple with 21 games. East Bridgford move into second place following a home win against Mapperley Park ‘A’. Jon Mitchell and Leigh Day were the top couple with 28 games.
