On Sunday 14th May, as part of the Lawn Tennis Association’s Great British Tennis Weekend, Mansfield Lawn Tennis Club (MLTC) held their most successful open day since 2013 the year Andy Murray first triumphed in Wimbledon.
The open day was attended by just short of one hundred people (excluding Committee and coaching team members) with both children and adults alike enjoying taster sessions throughout the day of the tennis coaching programmes that will soon be on offer at Mansfield Lawn Tennis Club delivered by the club’s new tennis coaching team.
The sun shone (mostly) and MLTC Committee and club members were on hand to welcome visitors to the open day and answer any questions they might have about the club. There was also a BBQ home-made cakes and tombola to complete the day.
