Following promotion to division 1A last season, this season proved to be very challenging, as two of last years team, Eddie Fox and David Carter were sidelined for the season, with knee and hip operations. However this made way for Rex Burrows and Chris Brandon White to make their County debuts, alongside stalwarts John Taylor and Gerry Radford. John Kingston and Bill Sissons also played one match each, moving down from the over 70 team.

A special mention for John Taylor who won 2 singles and 4 doubles matches with Gerry Radford.
