We have had an enjoyable but less successful season this year after our promotion to Division 2 last year.
We lost three matches, against Lancashire, Middlesex and Hereford and Worcestershire, by 2 rubbers to 3. Durham and Cleveland proved to be very strong and we lost 0-5.
However we managed to win our last fixture against our neighbours Lincolnshire by 3 rubbers to 2.
Many thanks to all my ladies, Carol Whittington, Elaine Master, Sally Walker, Sarah Usher and Sue Alexander for their commitment and support this year. My thanks also goes to Ann Brown and Shelia Chilvers from the Ladies 60's who also represented the 50's .
Although we will be back down to Divison 3 we are all looking forward to next year.
