The Notts County Champs was a great success with entry up on recent years, especially in the female categories of 16U Girls Singles, 18U Girls singles and the Ladies singles.

A total of 139 players competed. 233 entries created 304 matches across 30 events.

Jessica Spencer won the Ladies singles title beating Maia Dunn, as well as the 16U & 18U girl’s singles titles. She also won 16U girls doubles with Olivia Corfe, 18U girls doubles with Sophie Cassidy-De Falco & 18U mixed doubles with Tom Utton.    Quite a successful tournament for Jess.  (Pictured with Olivia Corfe, runner up of the 16U Girls singles)

Henna Quraishi won the 12U Girls singles beating Rebeka Hodi in a close final and we were treated to a very exciting 14U Girls singles final with Naomi Szczur only beating Mia Cameron after a tense third set match tie-break of 14-12.

Phoenix also won the 14U boys doubles with younger brother Indy.     While Daniel won the 16U Boys Singles; 16U mixed doubles title with Olivia Corfe & 16U boy’s doubles with Kade Straker-Meads.   Again a busy time for Phoenix and Daniel.
