The Nottinghamshire Mini Tennis Leagues, sponsored for the first time by UNSOY, started back in September with 36 teams playing in the red, orange and green leagues split across the north and the south of the county. The winners and runners up were invited to take place in the County Finals on Saturday 24th March 2012.
Red County Finals
The red teams taking part in the county finals were as follows
• Tennis Centre Mini A
• Tennis Centre Minis B
• Mascalls Red A
• Matts Monsters.
The overall winners in the county finals were the Tennis Centre Minis A who beat Matts monsters in the final.
Orange County Finals
The Orange teams taking part in the county finals were as follows
• Tennis Centre Mini A
• Tennis Centre Minis B
• Grantham Gingerbreads
• West Bridgford Orange aces
The overall winners of the county finals were West Bridgford Orange aces who beat the Tennis Centre Minis A in the final
Green County Finals
The Green teams taking part in the county finals were as follows
• Tennis Centre Mini A
• Team Advantage
• West Bridgford Green aces
• Grantham Gingerbreads
The overall winner of the county finals were the Tennis Centre Minis who beat Team Advantage in the final
The Nottinghamshire has attracted 211 players to take part over a 6 month period. Many thanks go out to all the team captains who have helped organise teams and made the leagues a huge success.
