Club Coach Tina Waldon said:
“Research shows there is a need to break out of existing routines and into more active life styles. Despite everyone seems busier these days we find that local families still have an appetite for outdoor games. At Hylands, we nurture their interest by offering access to a tennis environment where learn and play are fun and safe. In turn we help young people by fostering a sporting habit for life.”
Club administrator Giorgio Federico Bugnatelli said:
“We are grateful to the LTA and Highland Spring for promoting mini tennis during the month of April. Interest was high and we were fully subscribed for the promotional events. Beyond this activity our club will facilitate a trial period by allowing children to enrol in our Mini Tennis Academy for one term without the requirement of a membership.”
A parent at the club said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed this event and we will be joining”
And another added: “This event was very well organised and I was impressed with the quality of information and the coaching.”
Mini Tennis is available at Hylands during term time on Tuesdays or Thursdays with Tots at 6 pm and Red at 7 pm.
The club’s special offer for mini tennis allows children to join for the summer term at £49 (instead of £80). To apply for the Mini Tennis offer visit www.hylandstennis.co.uk and click on “Join Today”
