Congratulations to the Cumberland Inclusive Tennis squad for finishing 2nd in the Project Ability East London/Cumberland SSP Inclusive Tennis Tournament, held in the Hub on the 10th December.

Jeremy Bates opens new airdome for Billericay LTC

Billericay LTC are delighted to announce that, on 24^th November 2013, their new, 3-court airdome was officially opened by Jeremy Bates, the former British Davis Cup player and captain.

Roland Garros Fundraising Cycle Challenge

This is potentially the biggest fundraising event Tennis First puts on each year and every year those who participate have a great time (see Rider Comments attached). Touchtennis at Brentwood Hardcourts

A successful Touchtennis tournament was held at Brentwood Hardcourts LTC this year on their newly converted Mini Red/Touchtennis courts.

Essex U12 Boys give great effort in the 12 Counties

The Essex U12 Boys Team gave a good effort at the recent 12 Counties event. Thanks to all who supported the team on the day.

Wickham Bishops Tennis club opens new pavilion

In snowy February work started on a new pavilion for Wickham Bishops Tennis Club. By mid June the project was complete. After four years the long awaited pavilion was opened.

Essex 12U Girls Triumph in the 12 Counties

Congratulations to all the girls, and many thanks to their parents who braved the cold bubble to come and watch. Commiserations to the boys, who played some amazing tennis in their hard-fought battles

Aegon Winter Indoor County Championships

Essex Men and Ladies teams fought hard but its disappointment as Men are relegated to Division 2 and the Ladies remain in Division 3b.
