In the boys 10U final, Essex players, Reggie Edwards (Redbridge), lost in 2 excellent sets to “Timi” Oni (Great Baddow). The girls 10U event Lucy Quinlan (Grosvenor) won the round robin event, playing some brilliant tennis.

The largest entry was in the 12U event, where the No 3 seed Luke Byron (DL Southend) beat No 1 seed Tanner De Villiers (Sevenoaks) in a very close final.
In the 14U event, Stepan Golikov (Grove Chelmsford) had an excellent win over Jacob Smith (Chelmsfordians), winning his first open tournament
The 18U boys event was won in a very close final match by Andre Raath (Gosling) and his sister, Marelie won the 12U girls event comfortably after a very close semi-final.
The standard of the 18U girls was very high, with Lillie Warren-Cafferty winning the round robin event.
The event was organised and refereed by Lesley and Ian Pitt.
