Sarah Hylton has accepted the position of TPM East, following John Trehearn’s move to the LTA Women’s Team.
Sarah brings to the role a very wide ranging experience in British Tennis over the past 20 years. As a player she has experienced tennis at international level as both a junior and senior, (reaching a WTA career high singles ranking of 220) and has worked on the road with players at Grand Slam, ITF and Tennis Europe events. She has worked extensively in the LTA Academy Programs at both Welwyn and Sutton under Carl Maes.
In addition to bringing a very high level of tennis knowledge to the role Sarah is very experienced and qualified in the role as a strength and conditioning coach which will be an important asset as we move forwards in the new performance landscape in shaping and developing high level programs at the centres.
Sarah will start her new role on March 1st and a new candidate will be appointed to replace her as TPC Essex, with Sarah continuing to oversee all performance duties in Essex whilst this appointment is being made.
Sarah is very much looking forward to starting the role and further contributing to British Tennis. We all wish her the best of luck in her new position.
