Richard Crone joins Essex Tennis as Funding Facility Officer

We are pleased to announce that with immediate effect Richard Crone of Theydon Bois LTC will be taking up the voluntary role of Essex Funding Facility Officer.

Richard has been involved in assisting the County for many years and we are delighted that he is offering us his expertise in this area and hope that Essex Clubs take advantage of his knowledge and assistance. 

Said Richard “I have taken on the voluntary role of Essex Funding Facility Officer.  I will be responsible for supporting clubs through the Advantage Essex CLINC loan application process, and where appropriate suggesting alternative grant aid and/or loan funding sources.  My previous involvement with Essex Tennis has been co-leading the original Tennis Clubmark rollout in 2007 and assessing clubs, and later as an Area Representative for three years.  I have been providing funding advice to community groups since 2008, and have extensive experience of the requirements of many external funders.  I am also Chairman and a Junior Coach at my own club, Theydon Bois LTC.”
