In the final session on Sunday afternoon we had mixed results with the 10 & under boys losing 2-1 as did the 11 & under boys, our 12 & under boys against the odds turned the result around with a 2-1 win over Herts.
The boy’s team finished with an overall score of 11 points.

11 & Under Girls
Phoebe Maloney/Olivia Sofroniou/Erica Izatt
Finished 2nd place
12 & Under Girls
Brooke Newnes/Caitlyn Hardy/Angela Borowsk
Finished 3rd Place
The girls started with good victories in their first match of the day with wins over Bucks, Suffolk and Cambs respectively. The second round also saw victories for the u/10s and u/11s but a narrow 2-1 defeat the for the u/12s.
Day two started in style with 3 wins and we headed into the playoffs looking strong.
In the u/10s the Herts girls proved too strong and we claimed the runner up spot (a special mention to Michaela who only lost 2 games in four matches!)
The girls and boys scores combined put us in the runner-up spot behind Hertfordshire. A disappointing result, but the team are determined to claim the trophy back next year!
