Essex Ladies 0/50 team are National Champions having beaten Kent 3-1 in Dudley on 4th November.
The team of Pat Wire,Libby Eden, Christine Jolly and Jane Taylor won through to the finals after winning their Division throughout the summer, The finals were closely contested with Pat and Libby winning their singles then teaming up to clinch te deciding doubles 7-6 6-2
