The team managed impressive 8-1 victories against West of Scotland and Sussex, and the match against Middlesex on the last day was unfinished due to rain.
"Come backs" were made with the return of Mandy Wainwright after six years away from competition and Helen Parish fighting back from illness. The two together brough a huge positive vibe to those returning from the disappointing relegation of last year. We were also lifted by Eden Silva joining us on Wednesday, paired with Aimee Gibson, who together were undefeated.
'Rookie' Alex Jones put in some very solid performances, paired with the more experienced Shannon Newnes, who was back from her first year at University of Akron.
