Essex regained the boys top spot winning the final 5.1 against Herts. This year there were 10 counties in the competition. The team beat 10 other counties meeting Hertfordshire in the final 5 matches to 1. The team saved their best till last and were unbeaten all day.
Strength in depth was the key and it was a great team effort. Kirk and Kane were a great help.
