Further to our recent update regarding LTA re-organisation we are pleased to let you know that Amanda Michelow will be joining Essex Tennis with effect from Monday 16th June.
Her role of PLCO (Performance Liaison Competitions Officer) will be part-time and she will be in the main be working on County team administration and junior County training, she will also look at competition coverage for lower rated mini players and will be responsible for areas of social media and promotion of the County.
The Spirit Report published by the Spirit working party in February 2014 (subsequent to the extensive survey to players, parents, coaches and clubs) highlighted the above areas for improvement and we are delighted that Amanda will take on this role as we know that her extensive tennis knowledge and passion for Essex Tennis will make a big impact upon the County.
