We are very sorry to announce the sad passing yesterday of Yvonne Dennison. Yvonne played a huge part in the club for many years and was widely known around the tennis circuit, for her dogged determination in matches many years ago through to her similar attitude while she was our match secretary more recently. Many of you will have been coached by her from youngsters right up until recently, her enthusiasm never swaying.
The funeral is now set for Friday 11th December at 1:00pm. The service will be held at All Saints, Chingford (top of Chingford Mount opposite the cemetery). Yvonne had requested there be no black ties or even dark colours. Her family would prefer flowers rather than donations because Yvonne loved her flowers.
