Thorpe Bay coach Matt Bell has been awarded Coach of the Year at the Southend Sports Awards, a fantastic achievement! He was up against he was up against coaches from sports such as football, rugby, gymnastics and swimming, all of which attract much more attention than tennis in the Southend area.
Anybody that visits the Club regularly knows what a fantastic job Matt has done since taking over as Head Coach and, along with his team, he has developed tennis and coaching at the the Club tremendously over the last 18 months.
