The 66th Annual Frinton Junior Open Tournament took place from Sunday 9 to Saturday 15 August 2015
159 entrants from across the UK, mostly from East Region (Essex, Suffolk, Cambs, Herts)
325 matches were played in events ranging from 8&U to 18&U
Zuzanna Glowacz from Essex won the 16U Girls title
4 titles claimed by Oliver Nolan from Birmingham (U16 Boys Singles, U18 Boys Singles, U16 Boys Doubles, U18 Boys Doubles).
3 titles claimed by Megan Carmichael from Cambridgeshire (U12 Singles, U14 Singles and U12 Doubles)
Matt Byford, Tournament Referee from the LTA commented “The Junior Open at Frinton has a proud history over the past 66 years. Former winners include the likes of Jamie Murray in 1997 and as such people travel from numerous parts of the UK travel to take part. Several of our finalists today are heading to the National Championships held in Nottingham next week and we wish them all the best”
