David has been an ECLTA Councillor since 1985 and has represented Essex on the LTA Council from 1991 – 2010. He has also served on various other LTA Committees and Boards including the Coach Licensing Committee. Whilst on the Essex Council he held the positions of Chairman of the Development Committee and Press Officer. During this time he has served on various working groups and was invaluable as Editor of the Essex Scene. His wife Gill has always supported David and she now looks after the Wimbledon tickets for the Association. He now returns the favour and supports her in this very important task!
