The first annual London Boroughs and Home County Districts Championships finals day

The first annual London Boroughs & Home County Districts Championship held its finals day at Redbridge Sports Centre on Sunday.  Where Braintree (Essex) squeezed past Will 2 Win Ealing (Middlesex) via a 3^rd man tiebreak shootout in the semis and took down Surbiton (Surrey) in the final.  Some great tennis was played, some very close matches and it was great to see 4 clubs from 3 different counties compete against teams they would never normally meet in other existing leagues or competitions.  This will now be known as the Home Counties Cup for future events!
