The Essex boys had a successful weekend.
Saturday they beat Berkshire 8-0 and then after lunch found themselves 2-1 down to Middlesex after the singles.
However, this did not phase Essex, Johnny Price and Ben Rowe showed great team spirit in winning two important doubles matches. With the match tied at 4-4, it came down to a shoot out, where the boys won in a tie break 11-9.
The next day Essex looked up for it, they won against Oxfordshire 8-0 not losing a set.
The final match was against The Channel Islands. Essex won 8-0, again showing great professionalism and qualifying into the Nationals Finals in Bolton.
A great team effort from Johnny Price, Ben Rowe, Gabriel Curreli and Ben Stanford.
Well done boys and look forward to Bolton.
